Angel Locsin and Sam Milby's Chemistry

Angel Locsin and Sam Milby’s chemistry in the recently concluded teleserye Only You earned them fans who faithfully tuned in each week night to watch the love story between their characters unfold. At a recent contract signing for a new endorsement, Sam revealed that there have been talks of a movie to be headlined by Angel and himself. “They were talking about maybe next year, andaming nagsasabi na maganda ‘yung chemistry namin,” said Sam.
It might take some time though before they can work on the film since both stars are quite busy with their respective projects. Sam is currently working on a movie with Ai-Ai de las Alas, Joseph Estrada, and Toni Gonzaga, which will be Star Cinema’s entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival in December. “And then there is a planned movie with Anne Curtis, pero hindi pa sigurado ‘yun. But if that pushes through, siyempre it (the movie with Angel) will be next year na,” he explained. Angel also has her hands full with a movie with Aga Muhlach and a teleserye with John Lloyd lined up for her.
Strangely enough, it was their great onscreen chemistry that got people thinking that Sam was the cause of Angel and Luis Manzano’s rumored breakup. Sam clarified that although Angel is a beautiful person inside and out, he never entertained the idea of courting her. “She’s very lovely and a very nice girl and very generous but I never looked at her that way. I never thought about it that way,” he stressed.
He said that the cast of Only You is planning to have a get-together, possibly a trip to South Korea where some of Only You’s scenes were shot, but Sam said that he won’t be able to go with them because of work.
Sam just arrived from Hawaii where he attended his older sister’s wedding. The trip was also his first break from work this year and he was happy to spend some time with family and friends. While his sister has settled down, Sam said that he hasn’t given it much thought yet. “It’s something a woman does a lot more than a guy. Hindi ko naman iniisip kung kailan ako ikakasal,” Sam said. The 25-year-old singer/actor said that he still wants to do a lot of things. “I do miss being in love and I do want to be in love naman pero kung mangyayari siya mangyayari siya. Pero hindi na dapat pilitin o hindi ko na siya dapat hanapin.”
