Piolo Pascual comments on Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano’s rumored breakup

Angel Locsin and Luis Manzano have allegedly broken up. Rumors of a third party have surfaced though both stars have yet to confirm or deny such reports. During an interview with ABS-CBN.com last August 10, Luis gave no indication of such a split and said except for the fact that their respective busy schedules prevent them from seeing each other that their relationship was okay. Angel gave a similar statement during the last taping day of Only You at Parks and Wildlife last August 21.

The issue came up during the press conference of Piolo Pascual for Kimmy Dora: Kambal Sa Kiyeme at Max’s Restaurant last August 20. As Angel’s former leading man and good friend, the entertainment press asked him if he knew anything about it, but he was equally uncertain about what really happened between her and Luis. “Nabasa ko lang din yun. Hindi ko alam kung totoo pero kung ganon man nakakalungkot kasi matagal na sila e. Bago pa lumipat sa ABS-CBN si Angel sila na ni Luis. Nakakalungkot kasi kaibigan ko sila pareho. Siguro kung para sa ikabubuti ng dalawa okay sana. Pero kung hindi naman, nakakapanghinayang kasi may emotional investment na rin kasi sila sa isa’t isa ’di ba? So I hope hindi pa tapos,” he commented.

Piolo hasn’t talked to either Luis or Angel yet but he’ll probably know the real deal when he finally sees the former on ASAP this Sunday. “Hindi pa kami nag-uusap ni Angel. I saw her a couple of days ago after niya manood ng concert ni Lady Gaga. She seemed okay naman. I think bago lang naman yung breakup nila but just the same, sana maging okay sila ulit. Makikita ko naman si Luis sa ASAP sa Sunday so tatanungin ko siya about it,” he added.
