When former GMA-7 talent, Angel Locsin moved to ABS-CBN, her supposed to be 'new projects' like Marimar are 'passed' on to Marian Rivera which makes the two the 'new showbiz rivals'. When there are reports that Marian Rivera will do another remake of superhero Darna (slightly rip-off of Wonder Woman) which Angel Locsin already did back in 2005. Fans of the 2 are so ecstatic what would be the outcome in terms of ratings.

Angel Locsin's first TV series on ABS-CBN, Lobo topped the NUTAM when it ended, Only You got 39.8% in it's last episode.

Marian Rivera holds the record of 49.5 percent from an episode of GMA’s Marimar, the highest rating achieved by a Philippine tv series in the year 2007. Dyesebel got 44.9% when it premiered, while Darna 2009 got 44.1% on it's pilot episode.
